The Capitol Area Quarter Horse Association was formed in 1984 by a group of dedicated Quarter Horse owners living in central Texas. CAQHA was created to support and develop the Quarter Horse industry by producing quality events and providing educational information to its members. CAQHA also recognizes non-Quarter Horse activities in the community by assisting and contributing to area 4-H groups and handicapped equestrian programs. CAQHA is a non-profit organization governed by volunteer officials and board of directors. With approximately 200 members, Capitol Area Quarter Horse Association is one of the largest regional Quarter Horse Associations in the country.

In order to show for High Point or participate in the clinics you must be a current CAQHA member. All annual memberships expired December 31st, unless you joined/renewed at the last show, August 30 or later. You can check your membership card for your expiration date or contact mistyhillsfarm@hotmail.com if you’re not sure when your membership expires. You can download a membership form from the Membership page; please take a few moments to complete and return with your dues. It will really save you time in the show office, and you won’t miss out on participating for awards if you get rushed the morning of the show and forget to renew!
Thanks for your support and participation in our activities!!!!!
